NEPSE Rises 27 Points to Close at 2,708.70 as Most Sectors Gain

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 5 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its upward momentum on Thursday, gaining 27.19 points, or 1.01 per cent, to close at 2,708.70 points. The Sensitive Index, which measures the performance of Class ‘A’ companies, rose by 0.98 per cent, while the Float Index, reflecting actively traded shares, increased by 1.11 per cent, indicating broad-based buying interest in the market. Sector Performance Sector-wise trading showed positive sentiment across most segments. All sub-indices closed in the green except the Trading sector, which declined by 0.48 per cent. Gold Price Drops by Rs 20,500 Per Tola After One-Day High

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 30 — Gold prices in the domestic market declined on Friday after reaching a historic high a day earlier, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
