Nepal is celebrating Maha Shivaratri today with prayers, rituals, and large gatherings at Shiva temples across the country. From early morning, thousands of devotees have visited temples and holy rivers to worship Lord Shiva. Pashupatinath Draws Huge Crowds At Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal’s holiest Hindu shrines, all four gates were opened from 2:00 am to manage the heavy flow of worshippers. Long lines formed as devotees entered the temple complex after taking ritual baths and offering prayers. Authorities arranged multiple entry routes and queue systems to control crowds and ensure safety.
