Kathmandu, March 2 — The Government of Nepal has temporarily stopped issuing labour permits for foreign employment in 12 Middle Eastern and Gulf countries. The decision comes amid growing instability in parts of the region. Authorities say the move is necessary to protect Nepali workers. Ministerial Decision Takes Effect The Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) issued an official notice on Sunday. India Provides Third Phase of Election Aid to Nepal

India has handed over the third tranche of election-related assistance to Nepal to support preparations for the upcoming elections. Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, presented the support to Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Kathmandu on Thursday. More Than 270 Vehicles Delivered The third tranche includes over 270 vehicles and supplies. These will help manage election logistics and improve security arrangements.
