Gagan Thapa Vows Anti-Corruption Drive Before Election
President of the Nepali Congress, Gagan Kumar Thapa, has vowed to launch a strong campaign against corruption if his party forms the next government.
Speaking at an election event in Pokhara on Friday, Thapa said Nepal must free itself from corrupt practices that have weakened public trust. He announced that property investigations would be conducted into individuals who have held major public positions since 2046 BS, including former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and himself.

Industry
He stressed that Nepal cannot afford further conflict and called for unity to speed up national development.
