RSP Dominates Kathmandu Seats in Nepal House Election
Kathmandu, March 7 — The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured major victories across several constituencies in Kathmandu in the latest House of Representatives election.
According to the Election Commission of Nepal, RSP candidates won most of the seats in the capital with large vote margins over their rivals.
Key Victories in Kathmandu
In Kathmandu-1, RSP candidate Ranju Neupane secured a strong victory, marking a major breakthrough for the party in the constituency.
In Kathmandu-2, Sunil KC won the seat with 34,238 votes.His closest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Kabir Sharma, received 8,874 votes.
In Kathmandu-4, Pukar Bam was elected with 29,142 votes, defeating Nepali Congress candidate Sachin Timalsena, who secured 8,824 votes.
