Police in Sudurpaschim Province have intensified their efforts to track down escaped prisoners, successfully rearresting more than 1,400 fugitives in the past nine months.
According to provincial police officials, these individuals had previously fled after being sentenced for various criminal offences. With coordinated operations across all nine districts, authorities have managed to bring a majority of them back into custody.
