Election Commission Issues Strong Warning Ahead of March 5 Elections
Kathmandu:Election Commissioner Dr. Janaki Kumari Tuladhar has warned that anyone who breaks the Election Code of Conduct will face strict legal action ahead of the House of Representatives election on March 5.
Speaking at a public interaction program in Dhangadhi, she said the Election Commission is working to ensure a safe, fair, and peaceful election across the country.
Dr. Tuladhar said the responsibility does not rest on the Commission alone.
“It is a shared duty,” she said. “Political parties, candidates, the media, and citizens must all follow the rules.”
Complaints Will Be Investigated
She explained that anyone can file a complaint if they see a violation.
“If the complaint is proven true, legal action will be taken,” she said.
