Gold and Silver Prices Decline in Nepal’s Domestic Market




The price of gold in Nepal’s domestic market dropped by Rs 2,000 per tola on Thursday, reversing the gain recorded a day earlier.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold was priced at Rs 317,000 per tola on Tuesday. The price then increased to Rs 319,000 per tola on Wednesday before falling back to Rs 317,000 per tola on Thursday.

This fluctuation shows how gold prices in Nepal can change quickly depending on international market trends and local demand.

Silver Prices Also Decline

Along with gold, the price of silver also recorded a noticeable drop in the domestic market.

Silver prices fell by Rs 205 per tola, decreasing from Rs 5,720 per tola on Wednesday to Rs 5,515 per tola on Thursday, according to the federation.
